What is the Stryve score?
The Stryve Score, a central feature of Stryve, is our unique and highly effective tool for instant candidate assessment. The Stryve Score delivers an agile recruitment process and an equitable approach to hiring. Let’s take a little look at how it works.
Tips 1
When adding a new hiring flow in Stryve, the recruiter adds a number of tags, or key words, such as ‘Marketing’, ‘Tech’, ‘Sales’ or ‘Business Development’ in the ‘Job Settings’ page. These tags encompass the skills essential to that specific role.
Tips 2
When candidates are added to a hiring flow, Stryve automatically aggregates their CVs in seconds, pulling any key words found within, and adding these to the candidates’ profiles.
The programme then automatically assesses how well the key words in the CVs and those in the job tags match up. The result is a score out of 100 for each candidate: a calculation of how well-matched they are to a job. This is their Stryve Score. All automated. All easy as pie. Each candidate’s Stryve Score then appears on their profile card, for speedy reference. The higher their score, the more suitable they are for the role.
Tips 3
When viewing the hiring flow as a whole, the Stryve Score really comes into its own. Compare all candidates in the mix based on their Stryve Score, and decide who you want to select for the next stage in the hiring process. With simple colour-coding (green indicating progress, blue indicating on hold, and red indicating a candidate is out of the race), the system is highly accessible and user-friendly. You can choose to use pre-set templates to set up your Stryve Score, but for extra flexibility, you can also customise your own scoring methodology.
Tips 4
Using this intelligent and innovative automated approach to hiring is the way forward, allowing a recruiter to filter, organise and assess hundreds of applicants quickly and effectively. It is also based on a fundamentally equitable recruitment method, and along with our optional CV redaction tool (to remove details such as age and nationality),a hire with Stryve is based on talent, and talent alone.
The Stryve Score equates to easy hiring – but still with a principal focus on finding the very best talent out there. You’ll wonder what you ever did without it.
